We’re a fully booked private practice with a patient-first approach—never rushed, never overfilled. Demand is very high for our Smile Design consultations, so we offer these in limited releases to our VIP Waitlist. This ensures we can give everyone the time and attention they deserve, while protecting space for their treatment and ongoing care. Separately, we set aside dedicated clinical time each month for our Signature Assessments ✦ This premium, 90-minute service combines a Smile Design consultation with a comprehensive examination and clinically appropriate diagnostics, bringing together advanced digital technology and Dr Keely’s expertise in cosmetic and restorative dentistry. A Signature Assessment may be available before the next Smile Design consultation release, if you’d prefer to begin sooner.
We release a limited number of Smile Design consultations from time to time, depending on availability. As a VIP member, you’ll be first to hear when a new release opens. We can’t promise an exact waiting time or guarantee an appointment, but we’ll share booking opportunities directly with you.

It’s an opportunity to meet Dr Keely, talk about your smile and explore possible approaches, without paying a consultation fee or committing to treatment. This is a conversation, rather than a comprehensive dental examination. Before we can confirm which treatments are suitable and provide a personalised treatment plan, you’ll need a clinical assessment. Any assessment or treatment fees will be explained before you decide to proceed. When not offered on a complimentary basis, the usual fee for a Smile Design consultation is £225.

The Signature Assessment ✦ brings Comprehensive Examination & Smile Design together with Dr Keely Thorne. It includes clinically appropriate diagnostics and time to discuss your dental health, function, concerns and goals, whether you are considering cosmetic changes, restorative care or the ongoing health of your mouth.
We go through your itemised treatment plan and costs on the day. A personalised written report follows afterwards, expanding on the findings, reasoning and proposed stages of care. You do not need to have chosen a treatment or decided to proceed with one.
£450 total, with a £225 deposit. The deposit secures your assessment and is deducted from the total fee, leaving a £225 balance.
Your assessment, treatment plan and written report are included. Any treatment is priced separately, and the decision to proceed remains yours.

We guarantee a VITA B1 bleach shade, achieved gently over a series of weeks for the best, most comfortable results. The process begins with an in-practice desensitising treatment, followed by a gradual, three-week at-home whitening programme. This ensures a comfortable, effective experience, leaving you with your desired shade, all while protecting the health of your teeth.
A final review in practice ensures you’re happy with your outcome, and you’ll leave with a sustainable maintenance regime for long-term results. Our premium whitening service includes:
Keeping your Enlighten® smile bright should feel simple. Our Enlighten® Whitening Maintenance pack is designed for existing whitening patients who already have well-fitting trays and would like to refresh their result safely at home.
Your maintenance gel is supplied through The Dental Barns following a recent dental examination, ensuring your teeth and gums remain healthy and suitable for whitening.
You can choose from the current Enlighten® EVO4 gel options — 10% Carbamide Peroxide, 16% Carbamide Peroxide or 6% Hydrogen Peroxide — with your dentist confirming the most appropriate option and wear regime for you.
Every syringe is kept refrigerated at The Dental Barns until collection and supplied with a cool pack to help maintain the cold chain on the journey home. We also include Enlighten® aftercare products to help minimise sensitivity and keep your smile looking fresh between top-ups.
A dental examination within the previous 6 months is required before whitening gel can be supplied.
*Gel strength and wear regime are prescribed according to clinical suitability.
A standalone Smile Design appointment gives you 60 minutes with Dr Keely to explore what you would like to change, meet the team and consider your next step.
We capture your smile using 3D digital scanning and clinical photography, review it together and discuss the cosmetic or restorative approaches that may suit you.
Smile Design is also included in our Signature Assessment ✦ with Dr Keely. A standalone Smile Design appointment does not replace a comprehensive dental examination or provide a formal clinical treatment plan.
